180 Medical’s Scholarship Programs
Each year, from January 1st to June 1st, 180 Medical accepts applications from eligible college students across the United States. You can find out more about our annual scholarship opportunities below.
180 Medical College Scholarship Program
2022 is the tenth year of offering the 180 Medical College Scholarship Program, which our company’s founder Todd Brown originally created.
This program is offered annually to college students with specific medical conditions including spinal cord injury, spina bifida, transverse myelitis, neurogenic bladder, and/or an ostomy (ileostomy, urostomy, or colostomy). We recognize that living with these conditions also comes with additional financial burdens, which can make paying for or attending college a challenge.
Todd hoped to help eligible students afford college costs so they can pursue their goals in school and pay it forward someday by making a positive impact.
180 Medical Ron Howell Caregiver Scholarship Program
The 180 Medical Ron Howell Caregiver College Scholarship was begun to aid college students who are unpaid caregivers to a loved one living with a chronic disability.
Caregivers selflessly carry out their tasks each day with love. However, their caregiving responsibilities can also come with financial difficulties and limited time. That’s why 180 Medical created this scholarship program to help out unpaid family caregivers in achieving their dreams. Because 180 Medical recognizes that these students often face limited financial resources and time, the company created this scholarship program to aid these selfless caregivers in pursuing their career dreams.
